MOORE'S CREEK CROSSING

Charlottesville, VA

Moore's Creek Crossing is a reuse of a temporary pedestrian bridge from the reconstruction of the Jefferson Park Avenue bridge.  The bridge was repurposed as a permanent pedestrian crossing to replace a defunct wooden structure at Quarry Park.

The bridge spans Moore's Creek and facilitates pedestrian and cyclist connections to the larger Rivanna Trail path network for a range of users.

Nicholas was a landscape design intern on Moore's Creek Crossing while at Land Planning and Design Associates.
